As a Co-therapist, trusting the hypnosis process can significantly enhance your experience and the effectiveness of the sessions. Because we want you to be successful and maximize your experience, here are some tips to help you build trust and get the most out of your hypnosis sessions:

Talk Openly: Share your goals, concerns, and any previous experiences with your hypnotherapist. This helps us tailor the sessions to your specific needs and ensures you feel heard and understood.

Relax and Let Go: Allow yourself to relax and let go of any preconceived notions or skepticism. Trust that the process is designed to help you achieve positive changes.

Embrace the Flow: Hypnosis may involve drifting, shifts in perception, or even feeling deeply relaxed. Try to flow with it rather than focusing on specific outcomes.

Suspend Judgment: Hypnosis can bring new or unusual sensations. Being open-minded and allowing these feelings to flow without overthinking them will enhance the experience.

Be Patient: Understand that hypnosis is a process, and results may not be immediate. Trust that with each session, you are moving closer to your goals.

Follow Instructions: During the session, follow your hypnotherapist’s instructions closely. This helps you enter a deeper state of relaxation and makes the suggestions more effective.

Practice Self-Affirmations: Reinforce your trust in the process with positive affirmations. For example, “I trust the process of hypnosis and its ability to help me.”

Stay Open-Minded: Keep an open mind about the techniques and suggestions used during the sessions. Trust that your hypnotherapist has your best interests at heart.

Ask Questions: If you have any doubts or questions, don’t hesitate to ask your hypnotherapist. Understanding the process can help alleviate any concerns and build trust. Every question matters.

Be Honest About Your Experience: If something doesn’t feel right or if you’re feeling distracted, gently communicate that. Feedback helps the hypnotherapist adjust the session to suit you better.

Refrain from Alcohol or Recreational Substances: Avoid these for 24 hours before and after the session, as they can interfere with your mental clarity and the depth of the experience.

Journal or Make Notes: Writing down any sensations, thoughts, or insights from the session can be valuable. This process is part of the assignments that are recommended by the hypnotherapist. It’s extremely valuable for tracking your progress or understanding your experiences more deeply.

Commit to the Process: Commit to attending all scheduled sessions and practicing any techniques or exercises recommended by your hypnotherapist between sessions. On average 6-10 -20 sessions are required.

These tips can enhance your trust in the hypnosis process and maximize the benefits of your sessions. If you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to ask!
